From 32 Duxton Road to 32 Telawi Street, bringing a taste of Maine & Massachusetts to Malaysia: Singapore’s Pince & Pints – one of the city-state’s biggest F&B smashes of the past year – is counting on a new legion of lobster lovers to claw their way to its first foreign spin-off, a Singaporean-Malaysian collaboration in Bangsar.

Pince & Pints is devoted to the wild-caught lobsters of the North American Atlantic coast, flown directly twice a week from Maine & Boston, MA (as well as Canada) to P&P’s own holding warehouse in Malaysia, kept in cool-temperature sea tanks to help them reach the table retaining the sort of freshness that evokes the lobster shacks of Cape Cod. Expect lobster rolls, steamed lobsters, chilli lobsters & lobster noodles, each priced at RM158++ per serving.

Boston lobsters form the menu’s second main component, after steaks, at this new venue in Desa Sri Hartamas. The restaurant’s pride is the succulent signature char-broiled lobster flamed with house-made aioli (RM75 for half, RM140 for whole), but patrons can also opt for steamed or grilled, served with spiced butter sauce or lemon bearnaise sauce respectively (RM68 for half, RM128 for full). Lobster is also the centrepiece of a Boston Roll (RM80, with fresh lobster salad stuffed into a toasted charcoal bun) as well as Lobster Pesto Pasta (RM68).
